Jani overhears a heated fight between her sister, Julia, and their mother, Winnie, the night before Julia runs away. She finds escape with her warm grandmother, Oma, who is preparing her own cremation. As Jani receives secret messages from Julia, the tension escalates until she finally confronts Winnie.
